Lawless Orthodontics is the only practice in the region utilizing 3D printing to deliver both in-house aligners and retainers. We are able to produce these aligners and retainers for our patients within a matter of minutes. The printing process has very few steps and is minimally invasive. Initially, a patient will receive a scan from one of our trained clinicians. The scanner digitally captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. The scanner is a compact, hand-held wand, and the scan takes two to three minutes to complete.

This scan acts as a prescription, which is digitally sent to our in-house lab. Once our lab has received the digital scan of your teeth, the initial case setup is completed in our software. Next, our lab-tech utilizes the software to acquire the proper movements necessary to achieve treatment goals. With this prescription, our 3D printers will then print a 3D resin model of your teeth. These resin models are exact replicas of your teeth our experienced lab technician utilizes to create your retainers or aligners.
