Christine has been with Lawless Orthodontics for 18 years and loves working there because the patients and staff are wonderful. She believes Dr. Lawless is a fantastic orthodontist who always puts his patients first. Christine enjoys exercising, reading, and traveling. Her favorite movie is "The Proposal." She loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and embarking on new adventures.
Shauna Borowski
Shauna has been a dedicated member of the LO team for 19 years, and she loves her team and patients! Her hobbies include working out, going to the movies, and traveling. She is a passionate fan of UK basketball, Titans Football, and LA Lakers Basketball. Shauna's favorite restaurants are any Mexican place, Subway, and Chick-fil-A. She enjoys watching scary movies and can't live without her daughter, Katelyn, and her two dogs, Bentley and Baxter. Her dream vacation would be to go to Bora Bora with her daughter.
Alexus Stephens
Alexus has been a dedicated member of the LO team for six years. She loves working with her LO friends and seeing the positive changes in patients' lives. In her spare time, Alexus enjoys reading and playing with her three girls, Ava, Evie, and Rose. Her favorite restaurants are Tony's, Hickory & Oak, and Burger & Bowl. She enjoys movies and cherishes family time at the beach with her husband, Tyler.
Chelsea Gilbert
Chelsea has been with LO for 2.5 years and enjoys educating her patients on orthodontic care, watching them grow as they prepare for treatment. In her spare time, she likes reading, being at the lake, and shopping. Chelsea is a fan of WKU sports, and her favorite restaurant is Gerard's. She can't live without coffee! Her dream vacation would be to go to Iceland with her husband, Taylor. They have three kids: Charlotte, Lila, and Hayes
Tiffany Maurer
Tiffany has been with LO for about 2 years and loves seeing the transformation of her patients! In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family. She is a football enthusiast, and her favorite food is steak. Tiffany's favorite movies are "Zombieland" and "Elf." She can't live without Jesus and coffee. One day, she hopes to tour Ireland with her husband, Shawn. Tiffany is also a proud mom of 3 kids and has a 4-year-old German Shepherd named Echo.
Amy Mitchell
Amy has been with LO for 11 years and enjoys working with people she considers her second family. She loves spending time with her own family and staying busy. Her favorite restaurant is Mister B's, and she loves following WKU sports teams. Amy's favorite movie is "Avatar." She has a dog named Lightning, and her favorite thing in the whole world is her blended family, which includes her husband and kids.
Amber Barnes
Amber has been with LO for 1.5 years and loves her coworkers and helping her patients. Her favorite pastimes include reading and spending time with family. She enjoys watching Braves baseball games and her favorite foods are chicken and fish. Amber's favorite movies are "The Little Mermaid" and "The Jungle Book." She is married with 3 kids and has 2 dogs.
Channing Proctor
Channing has cherished the friendships she's made working at LO for over 3 years. She enjoys braiding hair and spending time with family and friends. Channing is a fan of Kansas City and Chicago Sky sports teams, and her favorite restaurant is Mister B's. She can't live without her phone or her son, Marlon. Her dream vacation would be to take Marlon to San Diego. She also has a dog named Oreo.
Dr. Jay Lawless
Dr. Lawless grew up in Bowling Green. One of his favorite memories as a child was fishing at Barren River Lake with his Dad, and his two brothers, while his Mom made picnic lunches. He played football, basketball, and baseball as well as served as Class President at Bowling Green High School. With help from Mom, Dad and many others he was awarded an academic scholarship to UK.
After graduating from the University of Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he attended dental school in Lexington. This was the perfect place for Dr. Lawless who loves Kentucky Basketball even more than he loves playing sports. Following his general dental education, he attended an Advanced Residency Program in Dentistry at the University of Kentucky and Veteran Administration Hospitals. There he treated complex cases in a team environment that included Oral Surgery, Periodontics, and Orthodontics. Dr. Lawless then went on to complete his Orthodontic Specialty Training at the Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
